Ricki TownsendRicki Townsend with A Pathway to Recovery is a Co-founder of Pathway to Prevention, an Addiction Specialist, and a Family Counselor and Interventionist. In recovery since 1984, Ricki joined Pathway to Prevention because she recognized the critical need to prevent teen substance abuse by keeping parents and the community informed about the current drug and alcohol scene. Ricki has multiple certifications including Board Registered Interventionist (BRI 1), National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC), and Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS). Ricki has also been certified or trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist® and Community Law Enforcement Chaplain, and she has extensive experience in mediation and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
